Listed below is important classroom news and dates to keep in mind.  

 

In Literacy in the fourth marking period, students will be learning about first-hand and second-hand accounts, integrating information from two texts on the same topic, and making connections between the text in a story and its visuals. We are also reading our second trade book, "Rules."   In writing, students are learning how to write research reports. Students will first choose an animal to research and write about and then a famous person.   

 

This year we will be reading "Frindle" and "Rules" for our class novels.

HOMEWORK

Your child writes the daily homework assignment in his/her assignment pad each day. Please review your child's assignment pad. You can also find your child's homework assignments posted on the homework calendar. Any notices or important information will be sent home in your child's homework folder.
