Monday June 15- Friday June 19, Virtual Directions

I can't believe this is our last week together! We made it! I will never forget this class as we learned remotely together. It makes me sad that we didn't get to see each other one last time, but I hope that you all find your way back to my classroom in September to tell me about your summer and to give me a welcome back to school hug!

We will meet on zoom on Tuesday and Friday at 10AM. I I hope to see you all at the meetings. We are going to play Would You Rather. I'm looking forward to it!

ELA/Writing: Work on the End of Year Slideshow. You can complete at least two slides per day. This will be a nice memory for you to keep and look back on in the coming years. Take your time and put thought into this activity. Share it with your parents and classmates. I can't wait to read about some of your favorite memories of third grade in room 25!

Math: I made a list of many math games that you can play to practice the skills that you have learned in third grade. I would like you to play any games of your choice for 30 minutes each day this week. Have fun! Try to play as many games as you can! I hope you enjoy this activity.

Handwriting: Complete any unfinished pages in your workbook.

Science: Finish watching your classmates present their Animal Habitat projects on Flipgrid.

Visit the google classroom or teacher website for your Special Teachers. Try to complete one activity from each of them this week. I know that they miss you, too, and would love to hear from you!

You still have until tomorrow to finish the slideshow. Enjoy watching the video! I really liked it!

Math: Watch the Brain Pop Jr. video on perimeter. The user ID is Robertsville and the password is learn. Take the quiz at the end of the video to test your understanding. Next, please review the perimeter anchor chart. Remember, to find the perimeter of an object, you must add up all the sides of the shape to find it. Don't forget to label your answer with the unit of measurement. (inches, feet, etc.) Finally, complete the perimeter task cards slideshow. Don't forget to turn it in when you are finished. Good luck!

Science: Watch the Brain Pop video on Heredity. The user ID is Robertsville and the password is learn. After you watch the video, take 30 minutes and work on the activities that are included after the video.

In their fire drill number box (the list of each student's fire drill number is at the bottom of the document), please leave one positive comment for each student in a complete sentence in their box. DO NOT turn in the document yet. We are going to watch 5 videos per day, until we have watched them all. We will finish watching all of them on Tuesday of next week. Your fire drill box will remain empty, unless you decide to comment on yourself! HAHA Have fun watching your classmates presentations! For example, when you watch Daniel's video, you will leave him a comment in box #1. He is fire drill number 1, so that is where his comment will go. You do not have to watch them in order. You can watch any five today in any order. Please do not comment on more than five per day. Only POSITIVE comments are allowed. You can also comment on the content, such as I really learned a lot about water vapor from your slide that I didn't know already! Be kind!

Wednesday 3/25 Virtual Classroom DIRECTIONS

Hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday! I wish we could do a sticky note question today! If I could give you all a ticket for your hard work the past week, I would! I am so proud of you guys, and I really miss you all.

As always, please reach out with any question I have. I am on Google Classroom from 9 AM- 1PM every day.

Reading: Please review the poetry notes below and complete the Poetry assignment, Soccer Ball on a Saturday Morning. Please remember to turn in the assignment on google classroom. :)

Science: Today you are going to start a project! Look for a separate assignment than this one, labeled "Forces and Motion Project." Whenever you need to access this project, you will click on that assignment link. The directions for the project are in that assignment!

Math: Today we will be starting topic 13-5. I will assign both videos, and the independent practice. As always, feel free to use your book to help or do your work in.

Writing: Continue working on your essay. Today, please write your conclusion. Tomorrow, you will edit and revise. Remember to go into the assignment from Monday to access your writing. Check the private comments in your document, I have been giving feedback there since we can't conference in person!

Tuesday 3/24 Virtual Classroom

Good Morning! I hope you all have a terrific Tuesday! I miss you all, and can't believe we haven't seen each other in so long! I miss each and every one of you! Here are some activities that I have planned for you today.

Reading - I put up some notes that you can copy into your notebook or a piece of paper, or you may print the notes out. There is a poetry lesson on a google doc. Please remember to turn it in when you have completed it. Next, please go on Epic when you are done. Spend about 15 minutes exploring things that interest you. Share with your classmates what you learned today on the classroom stream. Remember to be kind, and keep your comments appropriate and positive. Remember, it is OK to respectfully disagree, but be kind. I will be watching, and I will delete anything that is unkind. I don't think I will have to worry about that, though!

Writing: Write your three body paragraphs in your google document that you used yesterday. You will have to unsubmit the assignment from yesterday to work on it. You will have to go into yesterday's directions to access this doc. Use your writing notebook and your graphic organizers to help you!(:

Science - Force and Motion slideshow. Please complete the slideshow, and remember to click the links to the Brain Pop videos to watch them and complete the activities inside of them. This is your last day to finish this assignment. I'll be introducing a project on force and motion on Wednesday that I think you will really enjoy! You have that to look forward to soon! In the slideshow directions, I added the user ID and password for Brain Pop Jr in case you forgot. :)

Math: Instead of starting a new lesson today, we are going to review chapter 13 up to this point. In order to do that, please go on IXL and complete the following lessons : 78D , WMX

Please don't forget to do 20 minutes of IDR time. You can go on Epic to choose a book, or continue whatever you are reading at home. I would also like you to do 20 minutes of ST Math or 20 minutes of IXL Diagnostic. It is your choice on which math program you would like to use today.
