Good morning, my wonderful and brilliant students!!!

Please read page 280, "Weight is the Force of Gravity", found in TCI or your textbook. Be sure to read the caption also. Then go to your Science Google Doc (which you shared with your teacher). You have already copied the vocabulary and some notes on this document before today. Today you will type the title, Weight is the Force of Gravity, under yesterday's notes. Then underneath that title, you will write a summary of what you read on page 280. Be sure to include the important information. Good luck!!!

Unit #4 Lesson 1 - p. 278-279 (All Objects Have Gravity, The Sun's Gravity, and The Moon's Gravity).

***Lessons and Assignments for Monday, March 23, 2020***

Please read page 278-279, All Objects Have Gravity, The Sun's Gravity, and The Moon's Gravity", found in TCI or your textbook. Be sure to read the captions also. Then go to your Science Google Doc (which you shared with me). You have already copied the vocabulary and some notes on this document before today. Today you will: (1) Type the title, All Object's Have Gravity, under Friday's notes. Then underneath that title, you will copy the following notes, "All objects have gravity that pulls other objects toward their center. Larger objects have stronger gravity than smaller objects. For objects on Earth, only the Earth's gravity is strong enough for us to notice." (2) Now, skip a line, and write the title, The Sun's Gravity, and type the notes underneath the title, "The sun is a miliion times larger than the Earth, and its gravity is very strong. The sun's gravity is strong enough to make Earth follow an orbit around the sun". (3) Finally, write the title, The Moon's Gravity. Underneath this title type the notes, "The moon's gravity is noticeable on objects that are close to it. You do not feel the moon's gravity on Earth."
